2009 —
Carried five times in the Rose Bowl for 36 yards and a touchdown
… Lost his first career fumble in Pasadena Making his first appearance in three months and only his second of the season, ran for a season-best 51 yards and one touchdown on nine carries against Oregon State Included was a 30-yard run in the fourth quarter that extended a final drive that contributed to the Ducks holding onto the football for the game's final 6:09 Completed the season running for 82 yards on 22 carries Initially suspended for the remainder of the season after an incident following the Boise State game, but had his opportunity to play in games reinstated for the final month of the season However was unable to crack into the rotation until the regular-season finale Rushed for a 2-point conversion following UO's only touchdown against the Broncos in a game where he netted minus-5 yards on a team-high eight carries Also had career marks for receptions (2) and receiving yards (13) in Boise.

2008 —
Few newcomers in the Pac-10 Conference made a greater impact … Became the 13th different player in school history to surpass 1,000 yards rushing, finishing with 1,002 … Along with Jeremiah Johnson, was part of only the second tandem of 1,000-yard rushers in a single season at UO … Ranked sixth in the conference in total rushing yards … Set a school record for most rushing touchdowns in one season (17) … 7.3 yards per carry average shattered the school mark among 1,000-yard rushers … Combined elements of power and speed to lead the league in scoring (104 points), which was tops in school history among non-kickers … Only one other player in his first year in the program (Maurice Morris, 2000) ever rushed for more yards than the junior college transfer … Eclipsed the 100-yard plateau on four occasions, paced by his 132 yards vs. Utah State and 131 the following week at Purdue … Ran for touchdowns in ten of his last 12 games and multiple TDs five times, including three scores at Washington State … Yet no scores were any bigger than a 3-yard run in overtime in the win at Purdue, or a 3-yard plunge into the end zone with 6 seconds remaining in the game in a seven-point win over Stanford … Was credited with runs of 40 yards or greater against the Boilermakers (72), UCLA (69), Arizona (40) Oregon State (46) and Oklahoma State (40) … The honorable mention all-conference choice was presented the team’s Impact Player Award following his initial season at Oregon.

BEFORE OREGON —
One of the most heavily recruited athletes from the junior college ranks was tabbed as the nation’s top JC running back and the No. 12 overall prospect in the Rivals.com Junior College Top 100 … The four-star standout rushed for more than 1,000 yards in each of his two seasons at EMCC, accumulating 367 carries for 2,292 yards and 18 rushing touchdowns over the past two years … Rated as the No. 1 junior college prospect by The Clarion-Ledger (MS) newspaper, the JC All-American and Mississippi junior college first-team all-state choice was the national junior college leader with an average of 156.3 yards per game as a freshman … Among his career highlights was a 273-yard performance with three scores in a win over Northeast Mississippi CC during his rookie season … A four-year starter and three-time 1,000-yard rusher at Taylor County High School, he first reached the milestone as a sophomore and equaled the feat the following season despite playing with a thigh bruise for most of the year … Accorded second-team all-state player honors as a prep senior.
